Built for serious practice

Hanumat follows the research methodology of the late K.N. Rao and his school: conclusions are drawn only where independent techniques agree. The software is built to support exactly that way of working — Vimshottari dasha alongside Jaimini's Chara dasha and Chara Karakas, divisional charts alongside Ashtakavarga, classical yogas alongside nakshatra-level analysis — so that every judgement can be cross-checked from more than one direction.

Calculations default to the True Chitra Paksha ayanamsha used in the KN Rao tradition, with Lahiri and other modes available. Planetary positions are computed with Swiss Ephemeris data, and the eclipse engine has been verified against NASA's canonical eclipse records.
